Topalis Engineering’s specialised consultant team cover the entire range of services and products necessary to obtain the fire safety approvals in the following cases:

  • OBTAINING THE FIRE SAFETY APPROVALS FOR FIREFIGHTING SYSTEMS, WORKS, AND WATER SUPPLY NETWORKS IN LOCALITIES, INDUSTRIAL PLATFORMS AND PARKS, AS FOLLOWS:
    • situation plan containing the location of the designed installation with respect to the existing framework-elements, at a 1:200 or 1:500 scale, which will mention the distances to all neighbouring edifices and their function, and will mark the access routes to public roads while mentioning their width and length;
    • technical documentation containing the technical memorandum which includes the calculation abstract and the installation diagram, the electrical and functional diagrams of the fire pump station, the diagram of the fire cistern, as applicable, for the required technical documentation (DTAC) design phase;
    • design reviewer’s report for the „fire safety” essential requirement, for the DTAC design phase – attested at least in the plumbing specialty.

 

  • OBTAINING THE FIRE SAFETY APPROVALS FOR CHANGES OF USE AND UPGRADING OF EXISTING BUILDINGS AND FACILITIES WHICH, ACCORDING TO THE LAW, DO NOT REQUIRE BUILDING PERMITS, AS FOLLOWS:
    • technical expert examination report for the „fire safety” essential requirement and the design reviewer’s report for the „fire safety” essential requirement regarding the change of use/upgrading r the endorsement of the initial designer of the building and the design reviewer’s report for the „fire safety” essential requirement – buildings and installations;
    • fire safety scenario;
    • situation plan containing the location of the designed buildings and facilities with respect to the existing framework-elements, at a 1:200 or 1:500 scale, which will mention the distances to all neighbouring edifices and their function, and the distances to the access routes to public roads while mentioning their width and length;
    • documentation containing the drawings of the existing situation and plans for the proposed situation for each floor, façade and building sections, at a 1:50 or 1:100 scale, or, as applicable, the diagrams of the utility installations such as gas, electricity, water, ventilation, air conditioning and similar, as well as of the fire protection installations.

 

  • OBTAINING THE FIRE SAFETY APPROVALS FOR NEW WORKS, CHANGES AND UPGRADING OF FIRE SPRINKLER, FIRE DETECTOR, AND FIRE SIGNALLING/ALARM INSTALLATIONS IN EXISTING BUILDINGS REFERRED TO IN GOVERNMENT DECISION NO. 1739/2006, AS FOLLOWS:
    • OBTAINING THE FIRE SAFETY APPROVALS FOR BUILDINGS INSIDE PLOTS OF LAND AND PROVIDING ACCESS TO PUBLIC ROADS, AS FOLLOWS:
    • situation plan – location in the area –, which will mention the distances to all neighbours as well as the width and length of the access routes to public roads.

 

  • OBTAINING THE FIRE SAFETY APPROVALS REQUIRED BY THE URBAN PLANNING CERTIFICATE, AS FOLLOWS:
    • urban planning certificate;
    • technical documentation for the building permit design phase (DTAC), containing the technical memorandum per specialties, which includes the fire safety measures, fire safety scenario, and drawings;
    • design reviewer’s report for the „fire safety” essential requirement – buildings and installations for the DTAC design phase;
    • situation plan containing the location of the designed buildings and facilities with respect to the existing framework-elements, at a 1:200 or 1:500 scale, which will mention the distances to all neighbouring edifices and their function, and the distances to the access routes to public roads while mentioning their width and length.
